More About YAV Magazine www.yavmagazine.com

The Young African Visionaries (YAV) Magazine aims to celebrate the achievements of young Africans worldwide making a positive impact in their communities.  We also hope to shed light on some of the negative stereotypes associated with the continent of Africa by showcasing youth of African descent who are visionaries.  Each issue of YAV Magazine will have featured stories or interviews concerning the arts, culture, politics, and social awareness.  In each issue you will read interesting stories covering topics from fashion to political elections in regards to the youth of Africa. Our unique story based publication allows for the companies that advertise with us to be apart of the stories we tell, showing the power and impact of youth today to be informed consumers of a growing market. YAV Magazine is currently getting around 400 new readers each month since our start in March 2012.  We have successfully published two issues and will be publishing a third issue in July 2012 and then three more issues by January 2013.  Our issues come out every other month and are available online and printed for private distribution to institutions facilitating African art and history.
